We are ideally situated in the heart of the Village, close to the supermarket, shops, restaurants and bars - all within 350m. Terms & Conditions of Booking

To ensure fairness to all customers and to maintain the highest standard expected as members of Hospitality NZ we have adopted the following policies:

  1. Cancellations For Individual Bookings - A Booking For One Room Only
    Cancellations or amendments to bookings must be confirmed by email. Cancellations or amendments within 3 days from 2pm on the check-in day will result in one days accommodation being charged to the guests credit card, cancellation within 24 hours of check-in will result in the total amount of the booked accommodation being charged to the guests credit card. However we will endeavour to on-sell the unit(s) and will refund any on-sold room tariffs, minus an administration fee of $10.
    Harvest Lodge strongly recommends that travel insurance is purchased to cover costs arising from unforeseen circumstances and changes in travel plans.
  2. Cancellations For Group Or Multiple Bookings - A Booking Of Multiple Rooms Under One Name (Or Different Names) By One Individual/Company
    Cancellations or amendments to bookings must be done by the person who made the original booking in writing by email. Cancellations or amendments within 14 days from 2pm on the check-in day will result in the total amount of the booked accommodation being charged to the guests credit card. However we will endeavour to on-sell the rooms and will refund any on-sold room tariffs, minus a one-off administration fee equal to the value of your first night’s accommodation for each room booked.
    Harvest Lodge strongly recommend that travel insurance is purchased to cover costs arising from unforeseen circumstances and changes in travel plans.
  3. No-Show's:
    If you haven't cancelled your booking in writing within the required time and you don't turn up, the full room rate will be charged to your credit card.
  4. Reception Hours:
    Weekdays 7:30am to 9:00pm
    Weekends 8:00am to 8:00pm
    *Any check-in after 9:00pm Weekdays or 8:00pm Weekends, please make contact with us so special arrangements can be made for your key.
    Check-In: is available from 2pm on the day of arrival *
    Check-out time is 10am on the day of departure
    *Early check-in and late check-out is only by arrangement with motel management and may incur an additional charge.
  5. Payment:
    Three days before check-in your credit card will be charged for the total amount of your accommodation.
    A surcharge of 3% will be added to all AMEX & Diners transactions.
    A surcharge of 2% may be charged on Visa or Mastercard.
    Overdue/recovery charges may be made if your account is not paid on time. Overdue accounts will attract a credit financing charge of 2.5% per month.
  6. Parties And Noise:
    Harvest Lodge strictly enforces a NO PARTIES and NOISE Policy for the comfort of all guests, and will not tolerate excessive noise at any time. Guests who do not comply with these policies and disrupt the peace and quiet enjoyment of other guests will be required to vacate the premises immediately and without refund. The credit card of the registered guest will be subject to charges for damages due to guest complaints regarding excessive noise. This may include paying the tariffs for guests who leave as a result of your excessive noise. All visitors to your room must leave quietly by 10pm.
  7. Changes In Reservation Term:
    Any changes in reservation term will be treated as a new booking and additional charges may apply. Any extension to a booking is subject to availability of room.
    Earlier departure than the reserved date may not result in a refund unless the motel management approve and are able to re-let the booked accommodation.
  8. Guests:
    Persons booking units to stay must be 18 years of age or over.
    Persons under 18 years must be under the supervision of an adult.
    Visitors are permitted at the management’s discretion.
    We do NOT allow noisy gatherings or parties in our rooms.
    Guests must leave the premises quietly before 10pm.
    The registered guest is responsible for the behaviour of all of the visitors to their room for the duration of the registered guest's stay. All deliberate and/or reckless acts that result in damage to Harvest Lodge property and any costs associated with inappropriate behaviour resulting in loss of income to the motel will be charged to the registered guest.
    As parking space is limited, visitors vehicles are to be parked outside the complex.
  9. Smoking Is NOT Allowed Inside Any Unit:
    Smoking is deemed to include e-cigarettes and any tabacco based product which is smoked or inhaled.
    Smoking is permissible outside only; using the ashtrays provided.
    If you do smoke in a unit, you will be charged a fee of $100 to cover specialist cleaning of the unit. If the room cannot be rented until the smell is removed, the registered guest will be charged for the resulting loss of income to Harvest Lodge.
  10. Strong Smelling Foods:
    In order to avoid residual lingering food odours that may be offensive to subsequent guests - the cooking of strong oderous foods (eg: fish, curries) is not permitted in this motel. If strong residual odours remain, the registered guest may be charged a minimum of $100 for the cost of professional cleaning. If the room cannot be rented until the smell is removed, the registered guest will be charged for the resulting loss of income to Harvest Lodge.
  11. Tariffs:
    Seasonal/unit rates and minimum booking periods may apply.


Privacy Policies

This Privacy policy has been created to provide a clear and concise summary of how and when personal information is collected, stored and distributed. This policy discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for this site.

  3. Credit Card Information:
    The credit card details you provided when you booked online are encrypted while electronically stored and transmitted. Card information is never provided to 3rd parties#1.
  4. Email Addresses:
    Harvest Lodge will record your e-mail address if you transmit it to us electronically either in an e-mail message or via a web page form. It will only be used for the purpose for which you provide it, and will not be disclosed to any third party or added to a mailing list, unless you consent#1.
  5. Personal Information:
    When you book online, Harvest Lodge stores your name and address, your telephone number, your email address within purpose built Property Management Software - only management has access to this system and it is not directly exposed to the internet. To confirm your booking we require your credit card details.
  6. Promotional Material Via Email:
    Harvest Lodge communicates with its customers primarily using e-mail. This includes telling our customers about existing and new promotions. We acknowledge and respect a user`s choice to opt-out of marketing communications activities. Should you decide you do not wish to receive marketing or promotional materials via e-mail from us please unsubscribe using the link on each email or via the website.
  7. Security System:
    Your security is a priority with a CCTV security system operating 24 hours a day.
  8. Statistical Information:
    When you visit the Harvest Lodge site our server logs information which is provided by your browser. This information is used to create summary statistics, which allow us to assess the number of visitors to the different sections of our site. As well as this it allows us to discover what information is most and least used, determine technical design specifications, and help us make our site more useful to visitors.
  9. The information logged includes:
    • The date and time of your visit
    • type of browser you are using
    • country of origin (NZ, AU, UK etc)
    • the address of the pages accessed and any documents downloaded
    Harvest Lodge will make no attempt to identify users or their browsing activities#2. We use the information only for statistical analysis or systems administration purposes.
  10. Subscription And Feedback Forms
    Some pages of this web site provide the facility for users to complete an online form for the purpose of subscribing to a special service or to provide us with feedback about our web site. We will ask you to provide only enough personal information to fulfil that purpose. We will record it to facilitate follow-up and for statistical analysis. Only authorised staff will have access to this information.
